The Challenge

Into Film is a UK charity that gives every child and young person aged 5 to 19 in the UK the chance to experience film creatively by providing free resources for teachers and film clubs in schools. They approached Anuncia to provide specialist support for their Google Ad Grant activity, as well as additional remarketing and video campaign work.

The initial challenge has been how we increase the number of film clubs launched in UK schools. Our Google Ads activity is a core pillar of driving interest from teachers and schools.

Our Solution

When we began managing the Google Ad Grants account we started by rebuilding it with new campaigns with tighter themes, more appropriate keyword match types and taking historically top-performing terms and optimising these keywords within the account.

This has delivered positive results over the last quarter, with film club account creations up 400% versus the previous quarter and new user accounts up nearly 300%.

In late 2018 we also ran a comprehensive YouTube advertising campaign for the charity to help promote their Get Into Film YouTube channel which creates film content for young people in the UK. We delivered over 250,000 video views at a cost-per-view 3x lower than the 2017 campaign.
